With so many great par 3’s in the rotation which one is your favorite? Tell us your favorite par 3 and be entered into a drawing for a free round of golf at that golf course. We will be drawing the winner on Tuesday May 3rd.
I have a new favorate par three. Number 3 at Coyote Springs. I took an 8 on this hole in the first round of the 2011 tournament and posted a 38 for the front nine.
Oh well!!!
PS: Good luck to all on #8 at Coyote and if you hit a fade down the left side just over the hill past the 1st leftside trap, the ball will hit the steep downhill and filter right onto the green.
Good safe par with no drops from the water hazard on the right.
I do know of a threesome he could play with on Sunday, all males that does not include me. I just thought he might need someone to play with. I would not want any male to pay my way. Female, by all means…I am easy…not cheap. Not necessarily as bad as you might think.
Well since I have not played The Chase at Coyote Springs, I have not seen this hole. Maybe this year. And yea, there is nothing really spectacular about #8 at Falcon Ridge, Except for My Hole-in-One.
Jerry,
Quit sucking up. It is not a round for a foursome, it is just a round for him.
9 years ago when the Mesquite Am first was played, #8 @Wolf Creek from the blues was the best par 3 in the tourney. Now I believe for the current rotation #8 at Coyote Springs is very tough!
All in all, the courses all have great par three’s to challenge us.
The winner is Giacomo. Coyote Springs # 8 had a great turnout! All of these great par 3’s are waiting to challenge you in a couple of weeks. We will be sending out that free round of golf to Coyote Springs to Giacomo. Thanks to all that participated!
That would be the Oasis Palmer #7….and making it over the Ravine…it strikes fear in your heart just thinking about it! We have had the honor of playing Mr. Palmers inspriration for this hole at Tralee Golf Club in County Kerry, Ireland. Playing #13 Brocks Hollow did not make the clone any easier. Oasis Palmer #7 is an intimidating Par 3 from the tee, knowing you must carry your shot all the way to the green. You immediately start thinking of how would you recover from an errant tee-shot. Take a deep breath, think positive and take your shot…Just don’t look down! Making a par or birdie on this hole is so rewarding! And knowing you have just played a hole from Ireland…priceless!!!!
Agree, #8 at Coyote Springs! Although the year I won my flight I watched the 8 guys who were ahead of me in the standings ‘butcher’ # 14 at the Palms. We had a back-up of 5 groups on that hole. One guy made par and the other 7 shot 37!
From the tips or the blue tees at Coyote Springs, all four of the par 3’s are a challenge. My favorite is # 8 even though it is one tough hole especially with a back right pin. Now when do I get my free foursome, lol?
Mind was the finial round in last years tournament #16 at CasaBlanca I have never had a hole in one before but I have come close 3 other times, I have hit the stick, rolled just pass the hole and stop an inch short. But that day I hit a perfict 6 iron hit 6 feet in front of the hole and the @#$%&$ ball junp right over the hole, stop 3 feet behind the hole for an easy bird!!! another close call but got the skin money any way.
I believe its either 9 or 18 at Oasis Canyons. The par three downhill with the creek. Great view of the valley and a very simple par three in the morning with no wind. But if its one of your holes after 11am when the wind has picked up it can have as much as a 3 shot swing on the field effect. Played it last year in the wind and fortunately I gauged the 2 club wind correctly, one of the only things I did right that week, and my partners did not. I ended up with par and one of my partners took a 6 hence 3 shot difference. STMF
Number four at Casablanca. This was my first hole in the Doing It In the Desert skins game. So with my first shot in the tournament, I won closest to the Pin, which turned out to be a free entry into the next years Mesquite Am.
Ok, I’ll be second. Falcon Ridge #8. Site of my first and only Hole in One. Mine and my son’s annual Christmas Outing 2 years ago. So I had who I consider the best witness, My Son. Of course this was after he whopped me on the drive at #7.
I have a new favorate par three. Number 3 at Coyote Springs. I took an 8 on this hole in the first round of the 2011 tournament and posted a 38 for the front nine.
Oh well!!!
Thanks to all and Christian too!

Why would you pick a hard hole as favorite?
# 8 Coyote springs easy birdie!
Number 2 at falcon ridge. Short but a great golf hole with the water and the bluff behind the green

Jerry,

If someone didn’t beat me in let me be the first to say: Congrats on the win! If you need a fourth????

Will the winner standup? I can’t see you. Too much fog and rain.

#2 at Falcon Ridge.
#7 AT PALMER/ OASIS. LOOKS EASY BUT CAN NET A BIG NUMBER ALSO.
IS THIS ONE PER COURSE OR 1 WINNER OUT OF ALL ENTRIES?
I like #7 at the Palmer. It offers challenge yet beautiful greens.

#8 at Coyote springs. Amazing hole.
Coyote Springs # 8

8 at the Casblanca. Long, tough par three with the beauty of the lake and the waterfall.
Hole 14 at Falcon Ridge as well!
#8 at Coyote Springs
It will have to be whichever par 3 I play first at Mesquite. Can hardly wait.

Hole 8 Coyote Springs
Hole #8 at Coyote Springs from the tips.
those are all nice holes, but the best par 3’s are the driveable par 4 (hole #3)at casablanca or #11 at falcon ridge over the gorge.
Hole #8 at Coyote Springs.
Hole 14 at Falcon Ridge. My friends wife met me at the fence of their back yard and handed me an ice cold beer!!!
Thanks Christian. I like #2 at Falcon Ridge as well.
I don’t remember the hole number but I like the shot over the ravine at the Palms with the mounding behind the green.
Jerry,
That is #14 at the Palms.
Number 8 at coyote springs. Toughest par three around.
George
That would be #9 now. Yes, Previously #18 until the swapping of the nines.

Ok, I’ll be first. The Chase at Coyote Springs #12. Came within 4″ of a Ace two years ago.
Cheers
