Feagles Stays Hot, Wins 2024 Nevada Open Golf Tournament

Arizona Open Champ Michael Feagles edges out Chase Sienkiewicz and Zander Winston by one stroke to win first-place prize of $31,350.

Mesquite, Nev. (November 14, 2024) – Pro Michael Feagles from Scottsdale, AZ continued his recent hot streak by winning the 2024 Nevada Open golf tournament this past weekend after finishing at 16-under and nosing out Chase Sienkiewicz and Zander Winston by one. Feagles took home the $31,350 first-place check from the $150,000 purse offered at the competition held November 5-7 at the CasaBlanca Golf Club and Palms Golf Club in Mesquite, NV.

“I played tee to green very solid, and to come out on top of both of those tournaments speaks volumes for where my game is at and where it has been the past couple months,” Feagles said. “Obviously, the putter is really hot right now. I have seen a lot of balls going in the hole.”

The annual 54-hole Nevada Open welcomed 200+ players traveling from across North America. Nearly a dozen players were in position to pull out the victory heading into the final round. Taylor Low, Isaac Merry, Wil Gibson and Las Vegas’ Jhared Hack finished at 14-under, just two strokes behind the winner. Christian Adderson, longtime Nevada Open tournament director, put on a tremendous event in his final year. “I am very proud of what we built here,” he said. “It takes a lot of teamwork to reach the status we have, and working with everyone has been the coolest part of it all.” Having been a leading force in evolving the competition into a major of the mini tours, Adderson will now focus more on his role as assistant general manager of the CasaBlanca Resort & Casino and Virgin River Hotel & Casino.

Following the tournament, Mesquite Gaming presented a $1,000 donation to the Mesquite Junior Golf Association.
